World Sight Day: uniting our employees, subsidiaries and partners
Despite restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 crisis, Essilor is proud of the initiatives put in place and the motivation shown by our teams, notably by offering free vision screenings or organizing digital events to raise awareness on the importance of good vision.
Essilor employees, subsidiaries and partners around the world launched a campaign to educate as many people as possible on the importance of protecting your eyes from blue-violet light and UV rays, both indoors and outdoors.
Our campaign reached 17 million people on social media, and generated 70,000 clicks on the putvisionfirst.com website. Undeterred by the circumstances and the scope of the challenge, everyone pitched in to make this year’s World Sight Day a milestone event.
