Essilor reaffirms commitment to safer mobility

A passionate advocate for good vision on the road, Essilor renewed its partnership in 2020 with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), providing an essential lever to raise awareness on the importance of good vision for safe mobility.
Essilor also joined the United Nations Road Safety Fund (UNRSF), and welcomed the United Nations' recommendations on ensuring good vision for all road users. 2020 was also an opportunity for Essilor and Michelin to jointly launch a global campaign, "Together for safe mobility: Check your vision, check your tires". This is the first awareness campaign that brings together the two brand ambassadors, the Michelin Man and Max, who urge drivers to check their vision and their tires before getting back on the road.
