Maud Fraboulet: I’ve worked since 2012 for mass production engineering. I’m a process engineer based in Dijon working on the surface treatment of lenses.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN MISSIONS IN YOUR JOB NOW?
M. F.: I’m focused on new anti-reflective lenses for Essilor and its partners. That involves defining new designs through simulation, developing new processes on our test platform and then deploying these into production. Depending on the project, I contribute to one or more of these steps. I was one of several people who helped launch Crizal® Prevencia®, the E-SPF® 35 index and the E-SPF® 10 for Yoli. I also support production.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR JOB AND WHAT MAKES YOU PROUD TO WORK AT THE ESSILOR GROUP?
M. F.: Working in engineering brings a lot of interaction with different stakeholders: R&D, quality, production, partners, logistics… which is very rewarding. Innovating and improving our performance is at the heart of my job and I find that very motivating. I appreciate Essilor’s multicultural environment.
