Seeing the world in focus, enjoying life, reflecting on precious family moments… These were just some of the 500+ photos contributed by people from across the globe in a special Instagram contest launched by Essilor in advance of the World Sight Day.
The contest, which ran for 3 weeks from September 28th to October 18th, aimed to raise awareness on Essilor’s #PutVisionFirst campaign which encourages people to make good vision a priority and take the important first step to checking their visual health online at the putvisionfirst.com website.
Instagrammers were invited to take a photo of a perfect moment, capturing the power of good vision and featuring glasses or sunglasses. Congratulations to @Just4fun8585 for her winning photo which was liked more than 40,000 times. An international jury of twelve Essilor employees reviewed hundreds of other photos to choose a second winner, @coucoufernande, as the Jury’s Favorite Picture, judged for its originality and aesthetics. We congratulate our two winners and also all our participants for the diversity of photos shared for this contest.
