Essilor China has won the ‘Best Practice Award’ at the fifth China Charity Festival for its contribution to corporate social responsibility and public services. The ‘Eye Do - Kids Vision Care Program’ sponsored by Essilor China has been awarded ‘The Best Charity Project of the Year 2015’.

A long term partnership between the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation and Vision for Life, Essilor’s social impact fund, has been launched in Paris to ensure the vision health of communities in acute need.
Combining its expertise in corrective lenses with high performance polarizing sunwear technologies, Essilor is developing the Costa brand in France. Objective: improving the quality and comfort of sun protection and vision correction for consumers.
Essilor joined local villagers and dignitaries at the opening of a new Red Cross Village in Cebu, Philippines on 6 November. The project was supported by donations from employees and the Group in 2013 following typhoon Hayian.
