First stop: San Antonio, Texas for the National Sales Meeting held by Essilor of America. The four and a half day conference gathered over 800 participants – including independent distributors as well as Essilor senior managers, sales and marketing teams.
Through a series of strategy sessions, the event enabled participants to review marketing plans, product launches as well as recognize the outstanding performance of internal teams and labs from Essilor’s Independent Distribution Division. Participants also had ample opportunity to develop their expertise through a showcase of different technologies from across the Group and training sessions from Essilor University. A major focus for Essilor this year will be lens innovation to help make UV and blue light protection more accessible to all.
Teams in Brazil where the group recently finalized four transactions, also met in Sao Paulo last week for Essilor’s annual sales meeting bringing together nearly 350 people from across sales and marketing.
