Connected life: digital demands on our visual system

Today, over 90% of people aged between 20 and 65 use digital devices every day. On average, we spend nearly seven and a half hours in front of a screen per day *. Standing, sitting, lying down, at work, on public transport, at home … we’re using these devices in all situations and configurations.

But they demand a lot from our eyes. At varying and often close distances, small characters… our eyes are constantly working to accommodate. They are also exposed to harmful blue-violet light and subjected to the discomfort caused by reflected light. Result: three in four people today suffer from visual fatigue. To preserve our visual health, it may be advisable to get equipped with lenses specifically designed for screen use.

Using digital devices is very demanding on our eyes. Over time, it can lead to significant visual fatigue. Whether we already have a visual correction or not, we can still benefit from specific lenses designed to relieve our eyes.
