Role and responsibilities

More than a commercial relationship, a partnership for development combining proximity and support.

In France, Essilor's sales network includes around 6000 ophthalmologists and 10,000 optical stores.

Our 300 salespeople inform, advise and train players in the ophthalmic optical market (ophthalmologists, opticians, top-up health schemes, etc.) about our products and services.
They have special and very personal links with each of them:
  • provision of services tailored to their expectations: training courses delivered by the Varilux University, organization of conferences, seminars and congresses;
  • coordination between Essilor's various internal departments and customers, particularly via call centers, to maintain our quality of service.

"We go beyond sales contact - we commit ourselves to each player's development to ensure that they all achieve cutting-edge performances."

On a daily basis that also means...
  • Having an opportunity to offer genuine technical expertise to professionals for whom we are very often the undisputed benchmark;
  • Promoting innovative and high-quality products;
  • Contributing to a worthy goal: improving eyesight;
  • Having the resources to successfully achieve your objectives.
