Our perspective on disability

For Essilor, diversity is an asset and a source of social cohesion. The signing of an agreement in France in 2007 in favor of oyment and handicap is part of this approach.

This initiative has multiple objectives:
  • to recruit disabled people and offer them training courses;
  • to support teams in integrating people with a disability and to develop a personalized mentoring system;
  • to step up our relationship with the sheltered sector;
  • to encourage the transfer of those unfit to work in their current position;
  • to organize awareness-raising and information events about our commitment.
